The garter stitch scarf is a classic first project, but here also are some other ideas for knitting with a garter stitch. They’re all pretty easy but certainly not plain. You could go on forever knitting nothing but garter stitch scarves, just changing up the colors, textures, and yarns each time. (But there are many, many other fun things to knit, so I don’t recommend that!)
